At Ultimate we enjoy our social events as much as anyone! Our Mac Ultimate Club events directors are always hard at work planning and creating amazing events to rock your socks. Every now and then they collaborate with university ultimate clubs across Sydney to bring you the biggest diverse gatherings of players.
March 2014's joint ultimate social revolved around a massive city scavenger hunt.
The night started off by meeting at The Australian Heritage Hotel at 7, where everyone got some time to eat and drink whilst allowing stragglers to catch up.
People were then buddied up with someone from their uni and mixed into other buddy groups from different uni's to form teams. Teams were each give a list of challenges to complete by 11pm. For example, take an awkward photo with a stranger, get a kiss from a stranger, replicate a famous movie scene, collect as many different drinks coaster and so much more... The team who completed the most challenges would score the highest amount of points, thus win!
When each team had completed as many challenges as they deemed possible they were to head to the final destination, Jacksons on George, to party the night away!
To the winning team there was a prize, including the satisfaction of knowing you are better than everyone else. The wining teams glory was advertised across facebook and at the first available training for each club so that others may worship their awesomeness.
These are but a reminiscence of the magic created that night....
